Le temps perdu ne l’est jamais vraiment. Pour partir à sa recherche, le Théâtre de la Ville propose de faire revivre le spectacle créé en 2001 par Charles Tordjman avec le comédien Serge Maggiani. Pas tout à fait le même ni tout à fait un autre que celui qui envoûta le Gymnase du Lycée St-Joseph à Avignon, car il se fonde sur un nouveau choix de textes extraits du premier volume de La Recherche du temps perdu, dont on ne connaît pas encore à ce jour la composition exacte ni ce qui en fera le lien.
Réanimer les sensations enfouies
Seule certitude : dans un grand manteau noir, au milieu d’un espace de jeu blanc et lumineux, Serge Maggiani, de sa voix délicate qu’accompagneront quelques violoncelles, permettra au spectateur de pénétrer dans les sinuosités de la langue de Proust. Et surtout dans sa poésie, son émotion, dans l’exploration de l’intime qu’elle entreprend et dans sa capacité à réanimer les sensations enfouies. Un plongée d’une heure dans la prose née du côté de Guermantes et de Combray, que l’intelligente et sensible diction de Maggiani rend à son naturel, sans apprêt, simple et émouvante. Pour cette nouvelle exploration, annonce Charles Tordjman, « nous tenterons de plonger encore plus profondément dans cette étendue de langue infinie ».
