PIANO / DIMANCHE MATIN / THEATRE DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES
Musicien libre et pudique, timide à la sensibilité exacerbée, Pennetier l’écorché vif sait faire du concert un intense moment d’échange spirituel et humain entre l’œuvre, l’interprète et l’auditeur. Dans l’atmosphère chaleureuse des Concerts du Dimanche matin, où il est un peu chez lui, il convoque autour de son piano le Mozart tardif de la Sonate en fa majeur K.533 et du Rondo en la mineur K.511, et des œuvres de Gabriel Fauré dont il a entrepris l’enregistrement (chez Mirare) de l’intégrale en quatre volumes de l’œuvre pour piano. Une musique « incarnée par un pianiste qui donne l’impression de jouer pour lui seul une musique qu’il ferait semblant de découvrir, comme stupéfait par les insondables beautés qu’elle renferme » comme l’écrivait idéalement Alain Lompech en 2009 dans Diapason lors de la sortie du premier disque de la série. Pour ce récital, il a choisi deux Barcarolles, une Nocturne et les Thème et Variations opus 73, partitions délicieusement troublantes, comme suspendues hors du temps.
