C’est l’anti-star du clavier. Jean-François Heisser n’a jamais élevé de loups, ne cultive pas le look de l’artiste romantique et goûte peu la médiatisation. Pire : il préfère jouer des œuvres rares plutôt que des best-sellers du répertoire. Mais c’est sans doute ce qui fait la longévité de sa carrière et surtout la rare sincérité de son jeu. Depuis quelques années, il s’est par ailleurs penché sur les instruments anciens et s’est même lancé dans la direction d’orchestre (il est à la tête de l’Orchestre Poitou-Charentes). Au Théâtre de la Ville, il revisite Iberia, le chef-d’œuvre d’Isaac Albeniz – le compositeur que connaissent tous les people, car son arrière petite-fille n’est autre que Cecilia ex-Sarkozy. Sur scène, Jean-Francois Heisser dialoguera avec la chanteuse flamenca Antonia Contreras et le guitariste Chaparro de Malaga. Un trio qui s’annonce sulfureux et sensuel, idoine pour commémorer comme il se doit les 100 ans de la mort du compositeur espagnol.
