NOGENT / IMPROVISATION
Homme de télévision aujourd’hui célèbre, Jean-François Zygel reste avant tout un musicien des plus complets, cultivés et doués qui soient, à la fois pianiste, compositeur et, comme aujourd’hui, improvisateur. Un art longtemps en vogue dans le monde de la musique classique – Bach, Mozart ou Chopin, pour ne citer qu’eux, improvisaient avec brio -, aujourd’hui tombé en désuétude… A moins au contraire qu’il ne soit en train de regagner ses lettres de noblesse ? Pour ce récital, Zygel choisit comme terrain de jeu un immense compositeur, qui fut aussi formidable improvisateur : Beethoven. Czerny, célèbre pianiste, a relaté en 1795 à Vienne les prestations du grand Ludwig : « Son improvisation était on ne peut plus brillante et étonnante ; dans quelque société qu’il se trouvât, il parvenait à produire une telle impression sur chacun de ses auditeurs qu’il arrivait fréquemment que les yeux se mouillent de larmes, et que plusieurs éclatent en sanglots ». On souhaite autant d’émotions aux auditeurs de cette soirée.
