Auteur, compositeur, interprète, musicien, producteur et arrangeur, Jean-Jacques Nyssen est l’un des artistes les plus complets et remuants de la scène chanson belge. Il est en particulier l’alter ego de Clarika avec laquelle il a réalisé 4 albums. Son projet artistique personnel est aujourd’hui entièrement consacré à ce spectacle multimedia parfaitement inclassable et particulièrement inventif. Un hommage nourri de films d’archives, d’interviews projetées, de vidéos, de lumières, de danse et de musique à un artiste belge de son invention, dont l’image se confond aujourd’hui avec la sienne : Chris Conty, étoile filante et visionnaire de la pop francophone dont la carrière fulgurante dura de 1974 à 1976, jusqu’à son come-back en 1980. « Chris Conty a marqué ma vie. Comment dire autrement? A dix ans, j’écoutais "Je ne connais que ce cri", l’album en boucle dans mon minicassette. Je connaissais tout par coeur. Le premier concert que j’ai vu de ma vie, c’est Chris Conty au casino d’Ostende en 1976 (j’ai encore le ticket!). Chris Conty est le chanteur que j’aurais voulu être, quand j’étais enfant… » se souvient Nissen. Un spectacle attachant, entre parodie et nostalgie, émotion et nostalgie.
