STUDIO DE L’ERMITAGE / JAZZ
À eux deux, ils ont joué avec Juliette Greco, Anouar Brahem, Renaud Garcia Fons, Dino Saluzzi, Al di Meola ou Philippe Catherine… C’est dire que Jean-Louis Matinier et Kevin Seddiki sont des nomades de la musique. Le premier à l’accordéon, le second à la guitare acoustique, ils échappent aux classifications et inventent dans l’espace du duo un dialogue qui emprunte aux divers univers qu’ils ont fréquentés. Leur conversation est sensible, vivante et délicate ; ils s’accompagnent tour à tour dans une jolie valse de couleurs et d’émotions. « Rivages », leur nouveau disque, paraît sur le label ECM. Au pluriel, cela va de soi, tant les terres musicales qu’ils abordent et dont ils s’écartent sont variées et nombreuses.
