Le nouvel orchestre baroque en vogue est depuis deux ans ce « cercle parfait » né de l’enthousiasme et du brio irrésistibles de jeunes instrumentistes français ayant organiquement intégré les lois du mouvement baroque. Co-directeur artistique (avec Julien Chauvin, violon solo), Jérémie Rhorer, 26 ans, distingué par la critique française comme « Révélation musicale » de l’année 2008, dirige ces deux programmes de rentrée parisienne. Le 16 septembre, l’ancien assistant de Marc Minkowski et William Christie accompagnera le contre-ténor français Philippe Jaroussky, de retour en terres baroques après un détour récent et modérément convaincant dans le domaine de la mélodie française. Il chantera des airs de Mozart et, en préambule à la sortie d’un nouvel enregistrement en novembre chez Virgin Classics, Jean-Chrétien Bach (Artaserse, Adriano in Siria, Carattaco). Quelques jours plus tard, Jérémie Rhorer dirigera en version de concert Così fan tutte avec la complicité du Choeur de chambre Les Éléments (direction Joël Suhubiette) et d’une juvénile et performante distribution. Une nouvelle étape importante dans le parcours mozartien du jeune chef français après une Clémence de Titus à Rouen, Les Noces de Figaro et le Requiem au TCE et un enregistrement remarquable des symphonies n° 25, 26 et 29.
