TANGO / STUDIO DE L’ERMITAGE
Pianiste, accordéoniste et compositeur, Jerez Le Cam nous raconte une Argentine à la fois moderne et d’un autre temps, celle du tournant de la dictature des années 80, celle des contrastes entre la ferveur pour le football, nouvel opium du peuple, et la perpétuelle dépression, celle des Malouines et de l’exil, des beautés de Buenos Aires et des disparus de la junte militaire… A travers une histoire d’amour contrainte, perdue dans les méandres d’une politique de siège, on se promène dans une Buenos Aires fantasmée, on oscille entre les souvenirs de Le Cam et la fiction, la petite et la grande Histoire. La chanteuse Sandra Rumolino illustre les contrastes de l’Argentine, l’étouffant enfermement des protagonistes, la nostalgie, la fierté. En s’entourant du percussionniste Minimo Garay et du violoniste Iacob Maciuca, Le Cam donne à cette fable tango une puissance musicale qui porte la narration, entre l’influence nostalgique du tsigane et les rythmes jazz.
