Il est né à Marseille, dans une station-service. Durant sa jeunesse, il a fréquenté des gens louches. Notamment un certain Satan, qui lui a valu quelques problèmes. Puis Jésus a décidé de changer de vie, a acheté un camion pizza pour sillonner sa région. Mais le bruit s’est mis à courir que ses pizzas étaient miraculeuses. C’est là que ses ennuis ont commencé… « Valletti est de la trempe de Boris Vian, déclare Danièle Israël, de ceux qui ont le culot innocent et modeste, qui s’attaquent à de grands sujets sur le mode de l’épopée populaire où le rire et le sentiment se frôlent. » Tout commence comme du café-théâtre pour faire naître le récit haut en couleur des épisodes de la vie de Jésus. Sur scène, Camille Cuisinier et Pierre-Benoist Varoclier s’emparent de l’inventivité jubilatoire de Serge Valletti. L’inventivité d’un jongleur de mots qui plonge ici la figure du Christ dans la truculence de son univers de clown existentialiste.
