Un concert sous haute surveillance. Dans la phase de transition et de réflexion que connaît cette saison l’Ensemble Orchestral de Paris, il sera particulièrement intéressant d’observer la poursuite de la collaboration de la formation parisienne avec Joseph Swensen, nommé pour deux ans premier chef invité et conseiller artistique. Ancien chef principal de l’Orchestre de chambre d’Écosse et actuel directeur musical de l’Orchestre de l’Opéra de Malmö, cette jeune baguette très demandée est un passionnant musicien à plusieurs facettes, à la fois chef d’orchestre, violoniste et compositeur. Le prochain rendez-vous de Swensen avec « son » orchestre parisien se partage entre Bach et Mozart : Fantaisie et Fugue en la mineur (orchestrée par Nicolas Bacri, compositeur en résidence) et le Concerto pour deux violons de Bach (avec Deborah Nemtanu et Swensen en personne en solistes) puis le Concerto pour clarinette (avec Michel Portal qui improvisera aussi sur Bach) et la Symphonie n° 35 «Haffner» de Mozart. Un programme parfaitement adapté aux format et missions de l’EOP.
