Précédées d’une brève présentation de l’auteur et de la lecture en allemand d’un court extrait de l’œuvre, ces lectures-spectacles en français permettent de découvrir des auteurs à travers les voix de comédiens chevronnés – Féodor Atkine, Laurence Février… Auteur méconnu d’un théâtre novateur aux prises avec son temps (mis en lumière récemment avec Les Criminels par Richard Brunel), dramaturge célèbre de la République de Weimar, Ferdinand Bruckner (1891-1958), pseudonyme de Theodor Tagger, a créé une œuvre très fine qui ouvre de multiples réflexions sur son siècle troublé et meurtrier. Drame poignant, La Créature (1930), qui inaugure ces journées, s’interroge sur l’état moral d’une société traumatisée par la guerre. Trois œuvres de Händl Klaus, récompensé pour son oeuvre en Autriche et dans divers festivals internationaux, et déjà programmé l’an dernier, sont à découvrir. L’une de ses premières pièces, (Sauvages) Homme aux Yeux tristes ; Crainte et Tremblement ainsi que Don / Poison, deux volets d’une trilogie intitulée La Police. Une écriture musicale, à la fois ancrée dans le réel et porteuse d’une dimension mystérieuse et énigmatique.
