Avec ce récital très attendu de la jeune musicienne allemande, née en 1982, c’est toute l’insolence de la beauté, du talent, de la jeunesse et de l’intelligence qui est au rendez-vous. Violoniste unanimement repérée (Maazel, Eschenbach, Sinopoli, Janowski, Marriner, Tilson Thomas, etc…) comme l’un des plus prodigieux archets de sa génération, Julia Fischer est aussi une pianiste émérite, de niveau international, qui a dû se résoudre à abandonner l’un de ses instruments au détriment de l’autre en raison du nombre toujours croissant de concerts qu’on lui proposait en tant que violoniste. Formée au Conservatoire de Munich (où elle entre à l’âge de 9 ans), elle a participé à huit concours internationaux en remportant à chaque fois le premier prix ! Cinq en tant que violoniste et trois en tant que pianiste… Qu’ajouter avant d’aller l’écouter ? Que son répertoire est immense, de Bach à la musique du XXe siècle, qu’elle joue sur un divin Stradivarius «Booth» (1716) et qu’elle consacre l’intégralité de son prochain rendez-vous parisien à Schubert (Duo pour violon et piano en la majeur op. 162 D. 574 ; Rondo brillant en si mineur op. 70 D. 895 ; Sonatine n° 2 pour piano et violon en la mineur op. 137 D. 385 ; Fantaisie pour piano et violon en ut majeur op. 159 D. 934) en compagnie du jeune pianiste berlinois Matin Helmchen, 27 ans comme elle.
