OPERA EN VERSION DE CONCERT / THEÂTRE DES CHAMPS-ELYSEES
Créé au Burgtheater de Vienne en 1782, L’Enlèvement au sérail de Mozart est, avant La Flûte enchantée, le premier exemple marquant de singspiel, avatar germanique de l’opéra-comique français qui fera figure, au début du XIXème siècle, de genre lyrique national outre-Rhin. Pour permettre au public parisien de goûter sans surtitres la fraîcheur des intrigues sentimentales baignées dans une turquerie alors à la mode, les dialogues ont été adaptés par Ivan Alexandre et confiés à Eric Ruf. Sous la direction de Julien Chauvin, Le Concert de la Loge restitue les saveurs d’une partition virtuose et riche de contrastes sur laquelle la légende veut que l’empereur Joseph ait déclaré au compositeur : « trop de notes ». Dans la distribution de jeunes voix, on retrouvera quelques visages connus au Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Florie Valiquette en Blonde ou Levy Sekgapane, qui, après avoir été applaudi en Don Ramiro dans La Cenerentola en octobre, endossera le rôle de Belmonte.
