Pour sa troisième édition, le festival June Events réunit 25 chorégraphes internationaux. Un événement d’envergure, qui nous fait voyager au sein d’esthétiques variées : des improvisations sans concessions de Rosalind Crisp (les 10 et 11 juin) au séduisant « concert pour corps et voix » de Stuart Lynch (le 5 juin), des recherches de David Zambrano sur la musique soul (le 20 juin) aux images oniriques de Carolyn Carlson (la chorégraphe, qui organise le festival, présentera en ouverture Hidden, les 4 et 5 juin)… Mais le festival, qui met à profit le cadre enchanteur et les ressources du site de la Cartoucherie, va plus loin. On pourra ainsi assister à une projection de films de danse rares, organisée à la belle étoile en partenariat avec la Cinémathèque de la danse, ainsi qu’à un « event » danse-théâtre peinture-musique qui réunira Carolyn Carlson, Julie Brochen, Philippe Tallis et Michel Thouseau le 7 juin. Frédéric Le Junter propose un « concert-exposition » le 6 juin.
Une circulation dans les œuvres
Le jeune public n’est pas oublié, avec le spectacle de Tiago Guedes (à partir de 6 ans, le 18 juin). Le festival programme en outre des « Petites Œuvres Dansées », qui instaurent dans le domaine de la danse une pratique courante en musique, à savoir la « première partie ». Avant les spectacles de 21H, de « petites formes » sont programmées à 19h30 et seront suivies d’un échange avec les artistes. Au milieu du festival, Carolyn Carlson revisite ses origines finlandaises, et s’associe à la manifestation « 100 % Finlande » pour organiser « Tanssi ! » un temps fort consacré à la danse finlandaise sur un week-end. Du 13 au 15 juin, douze spectacles sont programmés, qui nous invitent à découvrir les nouvelles tendances de la scène finlandaise. On y découvrira notamment des recherches subtiles sur l’interaction de plusieurs domaines artistiques : les explorations d’Eeva Muilu sur la danse et le texte, celles de Tommi Kitti sur le dialogue danse-musique…
