Ils ne sont pas moins de deux ensembles français pour rendre hommage au vénérable pianiste allemand, qui a marqué des générations de musiciens. « La musique de Joachim Kühn, énergisante, exigeante, lyrique, complexe et ludique, harmonique, euphorisante et même parfois hallucinante, laisse imaginer de belles possibilités. », prévient Denis Charolles, pilier des Musiques à Ouïr. « Ce projet nous permet de continuer à explorer de nouveaux territoires sonores », poursuit Guillaume Bourgogne, de l’ensemble Op.Cit, qui a souhaité y ajouter quelques morceaux de choix de Ligeti, Schoenberg et Weill. Cela promet. D’autant qu’en première partie, les Parisiens auront l’heur de découvrir la pianiste slovène Kaja Draksler, à l’esthétique aussi fortement ancrée dans les traditions de son pays qu’ouverte sur les improvisations les plus libres. Si l’on en juge par son récent duo avec Eve Risser, paru sur le label haute qualité Clean Feed, les amateurs d’expériences fortes devraient être plus que comblés. A bon entendeur…
