Créée en 1990 à Sion, dans le Valais, la compagnie Interface cherche à développer des créations permettant d’avoir une vision globale de l’art et du monde. Des créations qui tendent à établir des langages communs entre le théâtre et la danse, la danse et la musique, la musique et le théâtre, mais aussi entre les nouvelles technologies et l’art, la culture et l’économie, l’acte artistique et la vie quotidienne, entre l’homme et la femme… « L’approche artistique de notre compagnie vise à faire disparaître la notion de spécialisation dans la manière de concevoir une création, explique le compositeur et metteur en scène André Pignat. Il n’y a plus d’acteur, de danseur, de musicien, tout est dans le tout, et c’est la cohérence de ce tout qui fait la spécificité et la qualité de son travail. Le texte, le mouvement et la musique ne forment plus qu’une entité indissociable. A travers notre art, nous cherchons à créer l’émotion permettant au spectateur de comprendre un texte ou une histoire, plus avec son cœur qu’avec sa tête. C’est seulement le spectacle terminé qu’il peut commencer à analyser ce qu’il vient de vivre, et ce n’est qu’à ce moment-là que l’intellect reprend le dessus sur l’émotif. »
Accepter de se laisser guider par les fées…
S’inspirant « du vécu des alchimistes dont la volonté fut de chercher à capter les forces de la nature pour aboutir à une recherche de liberté, de compréhension de l’homme dans son tout », Kaos se veut un hymne à la matière, un hymne à toutes les démarches chamaniques, à ceux qui tentent d’entrer en fusion avec l’essence et l’esprit de chaque élément, ceux qui acceptent de se laisser guider par les fées… « Sur scène, on découvre un homme en quête d’absolu et des fées qui le poussent à la recherche de son essence profonde, éclaire André Pignat. Ces esprits de la nature ont été inspirés par notre terre, le Valais, et par les écrits de Corinna Bille, une auteure valaisanne du XXe siècle qui a beaucoup travaillé sur les différentes forces mystérieuses que recèle notre canton. » Traitant de la quête et de la découverte, Kaos (interprété par Stéphanie Boll, Agata Lawniczak, Géraldine Lonfat, Octavio de la Roza et Michel Le Royer) souhaite ainsi donner naissance à un univers qui s’ouvre : comme « une renaissance où l’homme entre en relation avec la nature, avec le monde animal, où son cœur et son corps s’éveillent ».
