Etranges créatures aux pattes souples, marionnettes fêlées, structures métalliques aux possibilités de mouvement insoupçonnées… Dans Kefar Nahum, créé en 2008, les chorégraphes Nicole Mossoux et Patrick Bonté ont mis en scène des danseurs d’un nouveau genre : des objets ou assemblages d’objets, récoltés au cours de plusieurs années de tournées. Ils sont animés par Nicole Mossoux, dans une ambiance musicale interprétée en direct par Thomas Turine. Le pouvoir évocateur de cet univers est saisissant : le frémissement d’une cordelette suffit à rendre expressif un objet inanimé, le déplacement d’un morceau de bois campe à lui seul un personnage. L’activité perceptive du public se trouve ainsi au cœur du spectacle. Le spectateur est en effet bien conscient du fait qu’il projette lui-même, sur une vague structure inanimée, des images, des expressions, des sentiments… Des situations comiques ou inquiétantes surgissent alors, d’autant plus troublantes qu’elles ne sont que la projection de nos propres cheminements imaginaires, de nos peurs ou de nos fantasmes. Une transfiguration continuelle, qui finira par emporter également la manipulatrice des objets : « C’est l’histoire de Dieu qui a complètement raté sa création. C’est le grand bordel de l’humanité ! »
