Théâtre des Carmes-André Benedetto / de Randal Douc / mes Nicolas Hocquenghem
Dans un pays « où la terre et l’eau se mêlent », le régime des écharpes noires a fait régner la terreur durant plus de trois ans. Après la chute de ce pouvoir tyrannique, des combats se poursuivent. Malgré cet état de violence, une troupe de théâtre se forme et parcourt les villages… « Dans Khyol’, déclare le metteur en scène Nicolas Hocquenghem, des artistes de théâtre (…) sont assassinés, des acteurs, parce qu’ils “mettent des perles dans la tête” des spectateurs, parce qu’ils jouent une pièce qui évoque ce qu’il est interdit d’évoquer… » En creusant dans sa pièce le thème de la survivance, l’auteur Randal Douc souhaite nous amener à nous sentir concernés par les crimes infligés à n’importe quel être. C’est d’ailleurs le point central de l’ensemble de la tétralogie à laquelle appartient Khyol’ : toucher à l’universel, chercher « un endroit de partage » qui mène à l’humanité.
