« Embrasse-moi vite » chantonnait Elvis… avant qu’il ne soit trop tard, que les corps tous ne soient usinés par les normes vertueuses ou bien surexposés par l’industrie du sexe. Avant que l’art du sensuel effeuillage n’ait disparu à jamais… Il fut une folle époque en effet où les pavanes dénudées enchantaient les cabarets, où le strip-tease se déclinait de l’autre côté de l’Atlantique version burlesque : soit l’alternance de gags grivois et de parades de jambes. Ce spectacle apparu à la fin du 19ème siècle et consacré comme « 9ème art » au sommet des années 60, est aujourd’hui balayé par le flux des images pornographiques et relégué parmi les divertissements égrillards pour nostalgiques grisonnants. Contre les chagrins regrets, Bruno Geslin ranime les charmes de ce dévêtement érotique. Travaillant au corps le texte d’Ishem Bailey, écrit à partir d’entretiens réalisés par Susan Meiselas, Kiss Me Quick croise les voix de trois femmes de générations différentes qui confessent leurs destinées. Jouant de la suggestion et de la puissance imaginative, le metteur en scène Bruno Geslin révèle l’archéologie intime et fictionnelle de ce monde finissant. Avant qu’il ne soit trop tard…
