Fondé en 2002 par le metteur en scène Michaël Dusautoy, la vidéaste Annabelle Brunet, la comédienne Claire Corlier et l’acrobate aérien Damien Saugeon, le collectif Quatre Ailes mêle les influences de diverses disciplines des arts de la scène et des arts plastiques, souhaitant de cette façon aborder le plateau comme un lieu d’émerveillement, un espace de poésie. Aujourd’hui, accompagnés des comédiens Mathieu Boulet, Valentine Carette, François Kergourlay et Catherine Mongodin, les membres de ce collectif s’emparent de La belle au Bois, une pièce peu connue de Jules Supervielle (1884-1960) qui entremêle les motifs narratifs et les protagonistes de plusieurs contes de Charles Perrault. Une Belle au Bois Dormant qui rêve de connaître le vrai monde, une Fée Marraine qui l’enferme dans son univers de conte, un Chat Botté qui brûle d’amour pour la jeune princesse, un Barbe-Bleue dont la Belle tombe follement amoureuse, un Prince Charmant né dans une autre époque… La pièce de Jules Supervielle réinvente avec humour les figures de Perrault pour les plonger dans le bain de la vie.
Le monde de Charles Perrault revisité par Jules Supervielle
Ce sont en effet des protagonistes très humains, tiraillés par leurs sentiments, leurs états d’âme, leurs paradoxes, auxquels donne naissance l’auteur de La Belle au Bois. Se réveillant un jour en plein XXIème siècle, ils mettent en perspective le cadre de leur condition et donnent à réfléchir à la notion d’existence. Malheureusement, la création du collectif Quatre Ailes manque souvent de nuances. En dessinant de façon trop typée personnages et situations, la mise en scène de Michaël Dusautoy passe en partie à côté de la poésie et de la sensibilité qui font le charme de la pièce de Jules Supervielle. Et si l’univers esthétique est assez réussi (la scénographie est de Perrine Leclere-Bailly), il ne suffit pas à faire surgir l’émerveillement et la féérie auxquels semblent tenir les membres du collectif. Cantonnée à un spectacle pour enfants et jeunes adolescents, cette représentation de La Belle au Bois perd le pari du « tout public » et donne aux adultes l’impression de ne pas être réellement faite pour eux.
