Créé en 2004, Le festival de la Chabotterie est déjà devenu un rendez-vous incontournable des aficionados de musique baroque. Un succès que l’on doit au directeur artistique du festival qui n’est autre qu’Hugo Reyne, flûtiste à bec et chef de l’ensemble La Simphonie du Marais. Avec sa formation, il donne d’ailleurs à La Chabotterie les Concerts mis en Simphonie de Rameau (le 24 juillet) et Atys, l’opéra de Lully ressuscité par William Christie et Jean-Marie Villégier il y a plus de vingt ans (11 et 12 août). On retrouvera également les belles voix de l’ensemble Akadêmia (le 4 août, dans Charpentier et Carissimi), la famille Hantaï (le 7 août dans J.C. Bach, Couperin, Rameau et Marais) ou encore le Cercle de l’Harmonie (le 21 juillet, pour un programme 100% Haydn). En dehors des concerts, vous pourrez profiter du cadre bucolique de ce logis situé au cœur du bocage vendéen ou encore du délicieux restaurant étoilé situé dans La Chabotterie, qui vous fera oublier les sandwichs improbables servis dans tant de festivals.
