Treize hommes et treize femmes (d’Anna à Yolande, de Ben à Zach), de tous âges et de toutes origines, sont pris dans le tourbillon d’un chassé-croisé complexe sur fond d’un questionnement métaphysique touchant au sexe, à l’amour, à la vie, questions remarquable auxquelles le texte fournit une non moins remarquable absence de réponse. En digne héritier des mathématiciens fondateurs de l’Oulipo, l’auteur de LOa « Chapelle Sextine », également membre des Papous de France-Culture, suit une rigoureuse construction mathématique et fait s’entrecroiser au total 26 destins mus par l’ambition d’atteindre le septième ciel. Une quête plus problématique qu’il n’y paraît, dont témoignent les 78 fables assorties de leur morale composant cette fantaisie aussi polissonne que malicieuse. Jeanne Béziers, metteur en scène et interprète, s’est employée à trouver « une équivalence scénique » en se glissant dans la peau d’une conférencière maniaque flanquée d’un assistant docile, et donne au spectacle la forme d’un cabaret, d’un « cabinet de cul-riosités » dit-elle.
