Midi-Pyrénées fait son cirque Le Lido Centre des Arts du cirque de Toulouse
« Plutôt que de me plaindre, je ferais bien un dernier caprice. Un petit de rien du tout. Là, sur scène, et tout de suite. » prévient le texte du programme, sans que cette première personne qui prend la parole soit d’ailleurs bien identifiée. Est-ce le lamantin annoncé (mammifère aquatique et herbivore, de l’ordre des siréniens, au corps fuselé, vivant en Afrique et en Amérique tropicale), qui sort ainsi de sa chrysalide ? Ou plutôt tour à tour les circassiens frais émoulus de la 20e promotion du Centre des Arts du cirque de Toulouse ? Pour paver le chemin de leur insertion professionnelle, ils ont préparé un cabaret collectif, histoire de faire leurs numéros en public. Au menu : du jonglage, de la corde, de l’acrobatie, du fil, du tissu et même de l’antipodisme. Bref, du cirque dans toute sa variété, décliné avec liberté et bonne humeur. Quoique…. « J’engueulerais bien le public » ajoute la petite voix du programme, « mais avec classe, avec distinction. » Ouf !
