Récit d’apprentissage, l’histoire inventée par Vincent Ozanon et Jérôme Robart est celle de Nélu qui entre dans l’univers de la musique par amour pour une guitare manouche. Il rencontre Zano, « marchand de rêves et expert en commerce de guitares », Domba, « un pasteur suisse, un maître de musique et de pensée » et d’autres personnages haut en couleurs et riches en enseignements. « L’envie de partager ou d’initier à cette musique » fait partie de la démarche des auteurs de ce projet et est née de la passion de Vincent Ozanon pour la liberté et la beauté de l’univers manouche et de ses guitares virtuoses et audacieuses. En deuxième partie de soirée, sous le chapiteau du cirque Romanès, les musiciens qui accompagnent cette aventure, qu’interprète Vincent Ozanon et que met en scène Jérôme Robart, retrouvent les spectateurs pour un concert de musique tzigane.

Pour information : la famille Romanès revient à Paris avec son nouveau spectacle, Paradis tzigane, du 24 octobre 2009 au 31 janvier 2010 (le 14 novembre, spectacle au Carrousel du Louvre). Le 31 décembre à 21h, grand réveillon tzigane avec la famille Romanès au grand complet et tous ses Ratapuces.
