Théâtre de la Ville – Théâtre des Abbesses / Festival d’Automne / conception et mes Heidi et Rolf Abderhalden
Voilà plus de trente ans que le Mapa Teatro ausculte le réel à sa manière singulière, qui pourrait relever « d’une anthropologie visuelle désordonnée, ou d’une capricieuse ethnographie expérimentale. », selon ses auteurs suisso-colombiens Heidi et Rolf Abderhalden. Dernier volet d’un cycle intitulé « Anatomie de la violence en Colombie », La Despedida est né dans un temps historique particulier, transitoire et incertain, celui des négociations et de la signature des accords de paix l’an dernier entre le gouvernement et les Forces armées révolutionnaires colombiennes (FARC).
Adieu à la violence
Après environ 50 ans d’un conflit marqué par une extrême violence – celle du narcotrafic, celle des paramilitaires, celle du conflit armé et la violence d’État -, il s’agit justement de savoir fêter l’adieu à la violence, en accueillant un nouvel imaginaire moral, en explorant aussi « l’échec d’une idée de révolution de la part de la guérilla la plus ancienne du continent américain. » Mêlant installation théâtrale, archives audiovisuelles et témoignages écrits, le Mapa Teatro investit les vestiges du conflit, dans un camp de la guérilla en forêt devenu musée et scène de théâtre.
