« Après dix années de patinage artistique à haut niveau, j’ai décidé de me consacrer au théâtre. J’ai fait le Cours Florent, dont je suis sortie il y a deux ans, puis ai commencé à jouer pour diverses compagnies. Et très vite, j’ai eu l’envie de monter mon propre spectacle. Il se trouve que Philippe Pélissier, mon coach de patinage qui est aussi écrivain, a écrit pour moi deux textes : un monologue de Camille Claudel et un autre d’un personnage fictif, une certaine Sarah Rosenfeld, rescapée du ghetto de Varsovie. Après les avoir joués séparément en 2018 lors du Festival d’Avignon, j’ai décidé de les rassembler en un seul spectacle.
Deux femmes différentes
Cette pièce offre deux approches différentes de la cause féminine. En portant sur scène l’écriture très poétique de Philippe Pélissier, qui me fait penser à celle de Paul Claudel, je dis l’Histoire dominée par la puissance patriarcale. Et, surtout, je prends un grand plaisir à incarner successivement deux femmes aux trajectoires éloignées, qui ont toutes deux connu l’enfermement. Très documenté, mon jeu laisse aussi place à la fiction. Si les inégalités hommes-femmes perdurent aujourd’hui, j’appartiens à une autre époque que mes personnages, ce qui me permet une grande liberté. »
