Avec sa danse organique et festive, le chorégraphe portugais Paulo Ribeiro, l’un des créateurs les plus doués de sa génération née avec la Révolution des Œillets, nous parle de la nécessité de réinventer un espace où le collectif reprend tout son sens. Cette fois, il célèbre les 20 ans de sa compagnie. La Fête (de l’insignifiance) est le cadeau de Ribeiro et de ses interprètes au public. « Il y a toujours un don de soi qui nous dépasse. Il y a toujours la surprise, il y a toujours la fête ! Il y a toujours une dimension du rituel qui nous transforme, qui vivifie, qui modifie, qui nous rapproche de l’autre », résume le chorégraphe. Pour l’occasion, il donne corps à l’utopie, à l’expectative, car la fête sert aussi à s’évader du quotidien, à transgresser les conventions, les routines. Beau programme pour aborder son écriture du geste tout en finesse, sa maîtrise des ensembles et sa musicalité. Il a fait appel au compositeur Miquel Bernat, une personnalité reconnue internationalement dans le monde des percussions, et à trois musiciens qui accompagneront cette fête, cri explosif de joie et de liberté.
