« Seul l’homme fait de son corps le signe de ce langage qu’est la danse et qui produit des poèmes, des prières, des litanies, des imprécations, des rituels, des invocations, des épopées. Seul l’homme fait de son corps le signe de ses pensées, de ses espoirs, de ses peurs, de ses désirs, de sa joie, de sa jouissance, de sa faiblesse. » C’est sur les paroles de l’écrivain Alain Fleischer que le chorégraphe Daniel Dobbels a composé le solo de La Fille qui danse. Le corps vibrant sous l’onde des mots, « elle » écrit en gestes sculptés un poème chorégraphique qui délivre l’ombre portée du texte pour en faire trace intime. Dans Un son étrange, Daniel Dobbels expérimente une danse hors des souffles, portée par Van Gogh, le suicidé de la société d’Antonin Artaud, dit par Alain Cuny. « Comment, sans lui-même se tenir comme inerte, peut-il soutenir, traduire, trahir cette démesure où s’associe puissance d’un texte et d’une voix, qu’il nous faut écouter presque sans relâche (chaque jour de notre histoire le demande inconsciemment) et s’y exposer en toute intelligence ? ». Sans doute cette puissance atteint-elle l’incandescence quand elle touche le point d’extrême vulnérabilité de l’humain…
