Studio-Théâtre de la Comédie-Française / d’après Luigi Pirandello et Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa / mes Louis Arene
Adaptée d’une des Nouvelles pour une année, La Fleur à la bouche présente deux inconnus qui engagent la conversation à une terrasse de café. L’un vient de rater son train (Louis Arene, qui signe la mise en scène du spectacle) ; l’autre (Michel Favory), se sachant condamné par une maladie incurable, passe les quelques mois qu’il lui reste à vivre à observer le monde qui l’entoure. En confrontant la pièce en un acte de Pirandello à des extraits du Guépard, de Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, le spectacle présenté au Studio-Théâtre de la Comédie-Française souhaite nous interroger sur les enjeux de la condition humaine. « De la mise en parallèle des deux textes se dégage bien sûr une réflexion poétique sur la mort, explique Louis Arene, mais surtout sur la vie. » Une réflexion qui vise à nourrir « une méditation pénétrante sur le rapport à l’autre, l’imagination, la relativité de toute chose, la quête de l’instant présent, la mort et ses manifestations. »
