La Scala Provence / mise en scène Olivier Lépine / compagnie Machine de Cirque
Le titre l’annonce, tout se passe dans une galerie en gris et blanc. Face au groupe, une jeune artiste porte un regard décalé sur les œuvres et sur le monde. Elle amène le public à rêver avec elle, jusqu’à rencontrer des personnages de peinture du 17ème siècle. Apportant de la couleur dans cet univers gris et normé, ses propres œuvres permettent une explosion de pop-corn et de peintures.
L’acrobatie au rendez-vous
Que leur univers touche ou non, il faut reconnaître à cette compagnie québécoise une qualité technique indéniable. Du voltigeur de bascule aux porteurs de barre russe, en passant par les équilibristes, les acrobates de roues (allemande ou Cyr) et les voltigeuses, l’ensemble des artistes sont d’une polyvalence étourdissante. Si le sujet sert surtout de prétexte pour inventer autant de tableaux, le public se régale de cet enchaînement de scènes, impressionnantes, dynamiques et ponctuées d’humour.
