Cloître des Carmes / de la compagnie La Re-sentida / mes Marco Layera
Neufs comédiens de la compagnie chilienne La Re-sentida (créée en 2007) donnent corps, sous la direction de Marco Layera, au théâtre qui est le leur : un théâtre qui clame haut et fort son devoir d’insolence, de provocation, sa volonté de faire exploser les tabous – conférant ainsi à la création théâtrale une forte dimension politique. Le spectacle éclaire des moments clefs de l’histoire du Chili. Envoyés en 1973 auprès du Président Salvador Allende, un groupe de ministres du XXIème siècle tente de changer le cours de l’histoire afin d’éviter le coup d’état d’Augusto Pinochet et les répercussions qu’il fait peser, aujourd’hui encore, sur ce pays.
Réflexion sans concession
A partir de cette situation fictionnelle, La Imaginación del futuro croise les événements et les époques, donnant naissance à une réflexion sans concession sur la classe dirigeante chilienne. Une réflexion aux angles tranchants, qui fait de l’humour l’une de ses principales armes, et ouvre la voie à une réflexion sans pesanteur « sur notre passé et notre futur, sur qui nous sommes et qui nous voulons être ».
