Lorsqu’on prend place sur les gradins, devant la scène semblable à une loge, les comédiens sont déjà là. Ils écrivent, travaillent, réfléchissent, chacun solitaire avant d’entamer le dialogue. Deux femmes, dont l’une sera Yvette – Antoinette Moya -, une autre plus jeune, l’accompagnatrice – Serpentine Teyssier, et deux musiciens. « Elle aurait décidé de mettre sa vie dans un théâtre », « elle raconterait »… Doucement le conditionnel devient présent, « elle » devient « je ». La comédienne se glisse dans son personnage de « Notre Dame de l’Accordéon », et ce passage raisonné et sensible devient aussi intéressant que les mots et l’histoire. Nous découvrons la vie d’Yvette Horner depuis son enfance à Tarbes. Une petite fille très douée pour le piano, que sa mère lui demande, à son grand désespoir, de troquer contre un accordéon.
Un jeu théâtral tout en finesse
Elle travaille dur et remporte la Coupe mondiale de l’accordéon à Lausanne, une réussite incroyable dans un monde exclusivement masculin, avant de briller au Tour de France, et même à Nashville ! Marquée par l’amour de la musique, un travail constant et une volonté sans faille, cette vie de femme trouve aussi son accomplissement par la rencontre avec René. L’amour durera jusqu’au tragique décès de l’époux. La mise en scène évoque l’Histoire de France à travers l’accompagnatrice, car Yvette a traversé le vingtième siècle dans une bulle, et ne parle pas des horreurs qui ont bouleversé le monde. La matière du spectacle provient d’une saga radiophonique diffusée au cours de l’été 2005 sur France-Culture, où Yvette Horner se confiait à la productrice Sylvie Gasteau. Une passion pour la musique et un beau moment de théâtre.
