Le Girasole/ d’après Kunyo Katô et Kenya Hirata / mes Odile Bouvais / à partir de 6 ans.
L’histoire raconte celle d’un vieil homme qui habite une ville gagnée par la montée des eaux. La cité, où les habitants tentent de faire face à l’immersion en construisant un nouvel étage à leur maison au rythme des poussées maritimes, sera bientôt désertée. Le héros choisit de rester. Dès que l’eau atteint son plancher, il bâtit une nouvelle maison sur la précédente si bien que son logis prend la forme d’un empilement de petits cubes. Un jour, alors qu’il est lancé dans la énième reconstruction de sa demeure, ses outils tombent à l’eau… Le film d’animation initial a donné lieu à la naissance d’un album non moins célèbre cosigné par le réalisateur et l’illustrateur Kunyo Katô. La metteure en scène Odile Bouvais puise à ces deux sources d’inspiration, cinématographique et livresque, pour faire vivre le conte, aux thématiques très contemporaines. Avec trois comédiens manipulateurs.
