Ils sont six, se déplacent en meute et revendiquent leurs personnalités singulières autant que le collectif. Six gars en quête de sensations fortes, à prendre et à donner. Ils aiment le risque, braconnent le fantastique et agissent en groupe, avec témérité et confiance. Leur arme lourde ? Un drôle d’engin de propulsion qui les jette très haut dans les airs, une machine à faire des sauts dans l’incroyable : la balançoire française, variante hexagonale de la russe. « Ici nous jouons à nous faire peur et à vous faire peur. » expliquent les jeunes circassiens, tout juste sortis de l’Université de danse et de cirque de Stockholm, qui signent avec La Meute leur première création. « Nous guidons les spectateurs dans un univers incongru où ils sont alors libres de projeter leur fantaisie. ». Revêtus de serviettes de bain comme au sortir du hammam, ils enchaînent jeux d’esquive, équilibres, voltiges aériennes, acrobaties en tous genres. Adeptes d’une « théâtralité visuelle et rythmique », qui passe par les postures, les regards et les mouvements, ces jeunes fous voient le cirque comme un « catalyseur d’absurde ».
