Une autre écoute est possible. C’est sous ce titre que le documentariste Jérôme Florenville évoque l’aventure de La Muse en Circuit, dans un film diffusé en avant-première ce 28 octobre dans le « laboratoire » d’Alfortville. Compositeur-voyageur, Luc Ferrari voyait la musique comme une quête – de sons, de sens – et ses propres œuvres comme le récit de cette quête, avec ses questionnements, sa disponibilité à toute surprise, à toute rencontre. La Muse, c’est cet atelier toujours ouvert, où l’on vient avec ses propres instruments, ses notes et ses bruits. C’est le lieu de « l’extension du domaine de la note », pour reprendre le très beau titre donné par David Jisse (directeur de 1999 à 2013) au festival qu’il crée en 2001. Les chemins se poursuivent aujourd’hui, non sans bifurcations, avec Wilfried Wendling au contact de la voix, du théâtre, de l’image ou de l’illusion. Tout ce qui rend l’écoute possible, et autre.
