Théâtre du Rond-Point / texte et mes Pierre Notte
Un plateau nu pour un monde aseptisé, surveillé. Un monde déserté, indéterminé, débarrassé du vin, du sucre, des champignons, du roquefort, des abeilles, des rats et… des blattes. Quelques drones chutent de temps en temps, une brigade sanitaire fait son office. Dans ce vide futuriste, deux chaises, et deux femmes assises qui ne bougent pas. Deux vieilles femmes, qui refusent toute ingérence chirurgicale dans les effets du temps, et qui se combattent sans relâche pour préserver leur pré carré. L’idée de départ est née dans l’esprit de deux immenses comédiennes, Catherine Hiegel et Tania Torrens, qui ont fait appel à la plume acérée et impertinente de Pierre Notte pour l’écriture de leur duo. A partir de cette contrainte initiale, l’auteur, metteur en scène et comédien a déployé sa verve moqueuse et loufoque, et sa manière unique de rire de la tragédie. Tous trois ont travaillé ensemble pour élaguer, densifier et concentrer le conflit. Prisonnières immobiles aussi obstinées que Winnie dans Oh les beaux jours, Catherine et Tania s’affrontent à travers un dialogue vif et concret, dans l’attente de quelqu’un qui ne vient pas.
