Elle est seule, assise devant nous. Elle nous raconte des histoires. Avec une grande délicatesse. Des histoires d’amour, réelles, dont elle éclaire le moindre détail. Comme si sa vie en dépendait. Et effectivement, cette femme se transforme en conteuse pour ne pas disparaître… Après Les quatre morts de Marie en 1997, Morceaux choisis en 2002 et Jean et Béatrice en 2003, Catherine Anne s’empare d’un nouveau texte de l’auteure québécoise Carole Fréchette. « Elle a une façon bien particulière de faire surgir des histoires de notre présent, confie à son propos la comédienne et metteure en scène. Toujours directe, toujours poétique. De pièce en pièce, elle écrit une œuvre à la fois étrange et simple, douce et violente. » Pour donner corps à cet univers singulier, Catherine Anne fait ici le pari de la proximité. Spectacle interprété « au bord du public », La Peau d’Elisa (créé au Théâtre de l’Iris, à Villeurbanne, en novembre 2016) s’adresse à nous les yeux dans les yeux.
