« L’objet de ma démarche porte sur une image collaborative, où le corps met en jeu l’identité, explique FreÏdeÏric Nauczyciel. Elle fait appel à l’expérience de la performance parce qu’elle convie la présence. Il ne s’agit pas d’intervenir comme chorégraphe ni de faire chorégraphie, tout autant qu’il ne s’agit pas à proprement parler d’art performance, mais en se tenant à l’endroit de l’image, de faire mouvement, [de] mouvoir les perceptions et les sentiments. » C’est une telle mobilité, un tel rapport à l’image et au présent que l’artiste associé à la Cité internationale des arts de Paris et aux Ateliers Médicis de Clichy-sous-Bois / Montfermeil nous propose d’expérimenter à travers La Peau Vive. Filmant en direct ses tatouages, le performeur-slameur D’ de Kabal « échantillonne une partie de son histoire personnelle ». Il raconte de la sorte, à travers une démarche plastique, sa manière « d’être à la ville, d’y apparaître, de réinventer sa géographie ».
