En adaptant au théâtre La Pleurante des rues de Prague de Sylvie Germain, Claire Ruppli souhaite rendre grâce à un roman onirique, fantasmagorique, roman qui présente une géante mystérieuse hantant les rues de la capitale tchèque. Cette géante porteuse de visions relie les vivants et les morts, apaise la douleur des humains, fait resurgir le passé, l’invisible dans le visible. « Si le théâtre est “un lieu où tout peut advenir”, explique Claire Ruppli, il est celui-là qui peut accueillir au mieux les pas de cette géante, entre ombres et vivants, absences et plus que présent. » Des pas à partir desquels la comédienne a cherché à élaborer « une traversée vers le dénuement, vers l’être-là, vers la possibilité du présent, comme partage et communion humaine indispensables ».
