Ils sont huit. Et ils se sont lancés dans cette aventure exigeante il y a un peu plus d’un an. Au départ de courts récits ont dévoilé les aspirations et les expériences de chacun, explorant notamment les thèmes de l’enfance et de la pauvreté. Dictés par une sorte de nécessité intérieure, ces récits, devenus ensuite de véritables commandes, laissent voir ce moment particulier, cette seconde décisive où commence une histoire, où une porte se franchit. Ces moments attentifs et ouverts aux surprises et aux défis de la vie sont dits à travers les mots autant que les corps. Le corps commun ou le chœur des huit comédiens laisse ainsi sur la scène se détacher celui ou celle qui risque sa parole. « C’est un sacré combat que celui de la première seconde. (…) Etant partis sans filet, nous avons dû nous heurter à notre propre carcasse humaine, avoir besoin, terriblement besoin de l’autre. » précise Sophie Iris Aguettant. Un théâtre où chacun se livre sans fard, avec la plus grande sincérité, qui se veut ancré dans cet espace où le particulier dit l’universel.
