« Raconter un bout de notre monde qui est aussi le vôtre ». Sur la scène, les sept comédiens du Théâtre de l’Arc-en-Ciel livrent avec sincérité une mosaïque d’expériences de vie, dictées par une nécessité intérieure, une volonté de transmettre à un public cet instant suspendu, combatif et décisif, où les situations basculent, se libèrent ou se crispent. « Une porte à franchir, une rencontre manquée à tout jamais, un regard enfin retrouvé, une course folle à la vie, une épreuve à traverser ». Ou la révolte d’un jeune homme interloqué par la cruauté du monde, que ses amis ne trouvent pas assez léger – l’histoire inaugurale, la plus écrite, très réussie – , l’amour difficile d’un autre pour le violon – un bel ingrédient du spectacle -, la perte du bien-aimé, une étonnante partie de chasse, etc. Le spectacle se décline ainsi en sept commandes d’écriture où chacun s’appuie sur son parcours singulier, toujours inscrit au cœur des autres, car il est évident que cette famille d’artistes, visiblement très complice et sensible, est allergique à la solitude et l’individualisme. Toujours l’unique et le collectif, le je et le nous, s’articulent. Sans lien dramaturgique entre elles, oscillant entre éclats de réel et conte onirique, agitation et introspection, mélancolie et bonheur, les histoires se disent autant à travers les corps que les mots. Il est à la fois très exigeant, très généreux et très risqué de partir de rien, ou plutôt de soi, pour construire l’écriture.
« Avoir terriblement besoin de l’autre »
« Etant partis sans filet, nous avons dû nous heurter à notre propre carcasse humaine, avoir besoin, terriblement besoin de l’autre. » précise Sophie Iris Aguettant. Et c’est comme si les personnes se laissaient voir derrière les comédiens. Le résultat comporte des fulgurances, mais aussi des moments maladroits ou naïfs, d’autant plus que chaque histoire, morcelée en deux parties, est condensée et concentrée sur l’humain plus que sur une intrigue. Un sacré pari, visant à révéler les rouages de l’humain dans le monde, que chaque histoire reflète de façon très inégale, ne parvenant pas toujours à dire l’universel à travers l’intime. Cette première seconde c’est aussi l’aventure de cette pièce tout entière, l’aventure d’un dévoilement qui recèle ses forces et ses faiblesses, mais qui a le mérite d’oser le défi de la scène. Un mérite à encourager car il caractérise la beauté et la singularité du théâtre. « L’acteur est appelé à explorer la vaste palette des couleurs de son humanité, certain qu’il porte en lui, même en puissance, tout le sombre et le clair dont l’homme est constitué. Les aspérités, les fractures, les déficiences même de la nature sont sa matière première. » (extrait de la charte du théâtre de l’Arc-en-Ciel). Le spectacle même est finalement l’expression de cette indispensable fragilité de l’art théâtral.
