Théâtre Le Pixel/ d’après Diderot/ adaptation et mes Anaïs Gabay
« L’envie de monter La Religieuse de Diderot m’est venue lors de ma deuxième année de formation au cours Florent. Ce qui m’a frappé : la modernité et la subversion. La place de la religion dans nos sociétés est un débat constant. Les croyances sont-elles vectrices d’amour ou de haine dans l’histoire de l’humanité ? Ce sont ces interrogations que j’ai voulues mettre en scène ». L’intention d’Anaïs Gabay, metteure en scène et fondatrice de la compagnie l’Attrape-coeur, est porteuse d’une ambition qui rend justice à la subtilité et à la force de cette œuvre. La Religieuse est un brûlot contre l’église mais laisse ouverte la question du phénomène religieux et de la foi, sa manifestation. Cette adaptation pour la scène, orchestrée comme un ballet, sobre, divinement éclairée par Christine Betourné, assistante à la mise en scène et responsable de la création lumière, est servie par de très talentueux comédiens dont Anaïs Gabay dans le rôle de Suzanne, Ludivine Desrousseaux (la mère supérieure), Jérôme Tomray (l’ange), Maxime Peloso (le prêtre et l’archidiacre).
