Théâtre Les Déchargeurs / de Villiers de l’Isle-Adam / mes Salomé Broussky
« S’occuper du Présent est chose assez originale chez les Poètes pour que l’on m’absolve si j’y consens une fois », écrit Villiers de l’Isle-Adam dans une préface de La Révolte publiée en 1870. C’est dire la place singulière qu’occupe cette pièce dans l’œuvre de l’auteur. Abandonnant son romantisme et son symbolisme habituels, il y campe avec un style épuré une héroïne en quête de liberté. Une femme qui décide une nuit de quitter son mari banquier pour commencer une nouvelle vie. Avant de rentrer quelques heures plus tard, vaincue. Échec en son temps, cette scandaleuse Révolte est aujourd’hui régulièrement mise en scène. Y voyant une « pièce violente, grinçante, féministe, au propos toujours actuel », Salomé Broussky s’en empare. Dans le rôle du couple, Maud Wyler et Dimitri Storoge portent la modernité du texte qui nécessite un rapport étroit avec le spectateur. Une intimité quasi inédite dans le paysage théâtral d’il y a 150 ans.
