En tant que chorégraphe, réalisateur, et directeur artistique du groupe Clara Scotch, Philippe Jamet a toujours eu à cœur de placer l’humain au centre de ses recherches. L’intime, la fragilité, les vibrations intérieures sont généralement la matière d’une danse tout entière vouée aux particularités de l’être qui en est l’objet ou le sujet. La Saveur de l’autre ne déroge pas à cette règle. C’est à partir de rencontres que Philippe Jamet a filmées – entretiens, questionnaires, mises en scène d’actions simples – que se construit le scénario de la pièce. De ces séquences vidéo se dégage une trame interrogeant la trace, la présence et l’absence vécues à l’intérieur de chacun de nous. Le travail chorégraphique reprend cette trame, invitant le mouvement à se confronter au public dans une relation de proximité.
