Le Monfort Théâtre / de la Compagnie des Femmes à barbe / mes Gwen Aduh
Créée en 1999 par Aurélie de Cazanove et Gwen Aduh, la Compagnie des Femmes à barbe doit son nom au goût prononcé de ces deux artistes « pour les arts forains, les phénomènes de foires, les personnages étranges, les femmes et les barbes… » S’inspirant de la figure du baron de Münchausen (personnage haut en couleur connu pour son sens du fantasque et ses affabulations), la Taverne que le collectif présente au Monfort Théâtre nous place face à des personnages tout aussi loufoques. Tout droit sortis du XVIIIème siècle, attablés au milieu des spectateurs : la Baronne Rogère de la Ferronie, le Marquis Stanislas de la Hulotte, la Princesse Anne Angélique de la Trémouaille, Dom Pedro de la Mancha…, se lancent dans toutes sortes d’histoires imaginaires à partir de thèmes tirés au hasard. Sous le regard d’un cardinal faisant office d’arbitre et de maître de cérémonie, ils inventent des mondes faits d’absurde, d’extravagance, de cocasserie, dans la tradition du théâtre d’improvisation.
