Théâtre de Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines / Chor. Hervé Robbe
Créée en 2014 lors d’une résidence à l’Abbaye de Royaumont, La Tentation d’un ermitage explore le fantasme de la cabane et du retrait du monde. Au-delà de l’expérience mystique ou écologique, le chorégraphe, qui a commencé par des études d’architecture, s’interroge sur l’idée même d’habitacle et de communauté. À travers cet imaginaire, il pose la question de l’utopie, et puise dans la bible des amoureux de la vie sylvestre : Walden de David Thoreau. La pièce réunit trois chanteurs et trois danseurs, dont les trajectoires restent solitaires mais reliées par l’atmosphère mystérieuse de la partition inspirée de chants traditionnels ou sacrés de Romain Kronenberg. Le décor modulable du designer Benjamin Graindorge et les éclairages sophistiqués de François Maillot, qui nous font passer de l’aube au crépuscule, offrent un écrin pour les corps des interprètes, un entrelacs de sensations et de vibrations qui rend l’espace et le temps visibles. Un geste artistique fort pour être et vivre ensemble.
