Opéra Nomade, la compagnie fondée en 2000 par le chef Amaury du Closel, se donne pour ambition d’instaurer un vrai dialogue artistique entre les musiciens – chanteurs et instrumentistes – et les metteurs en scène et chorégraphes. Il en résulte des lectures très pointues, pertinentes, souvent très littéraires mais ne perdant jamais de vue le projet musical. Ainsi, le metteur en scène Pierre Thirion-Vallet déclare-t-il à propos de cette Traviata : « Cet opéra du sacrifice est aussi celui de la solitude d’une femme et de tout être humain face à l’arbitraire. Que l’amour soit ici un prétexte importe peu, il s’agit avant tout de mettre en scène la lutte désespérée d’une héroïne étonnamment proche de nous ». La jeune soprano Alice Gulipian est l’héroïne de ce huis clos.
