C’était l’une des mauvaises nouvelles tombées dans notre boîte emails : la huitième édition du festival Jazz Nomades/La voix est libre, qui se déroule chaque année en mai au théâtre des Bouffes du Nord à Paris, était sérieusement compromise suite à l’annulation de la subvention (12 000 euros) de l’Adami, octroyée depuis les débuts en 2003. Difficile de ne pas soutenir ce rendez-vous chargé de bons souvenirs : le poète de la créolisation Edouard Glissant ouvrant le bal, Bernard Lubat déchantant avec bonheur, Albert Jacquard interpelant le bon sens de la création, Akosh S dézinguant les clichés… Pour 2011, le festival avait même de la suite dans ses drôles d’idées, proposant d’inédits croisements transartistiques, et prévoyant aussi de s’installer dans d’autres villes, et de faire voguer certaines de ses créations au-delà, vers le Moyen Orient. Las, l’histoire ne pouvait donc s’arrêter là.
Des lendemains en chantier
Ici et maintenant, tel pourrait être encore le slogan de cette nouvelle édition où l’on retrouve des habitués de ce festival aux allures de manifestation poly-esthétique. A l’image de la soirée d’ouverture, intitulée « Rhizomes » en hommage à Edouard Glissant décédé il y a peu, divisée en deux séquences : Débordanse, où des improvisateurs (Bernard Lubat, Dgiz, Jacques Coursil…) seront associés à des danseurs, puis Ivresses, où des musiciens iraniens honorent la mémoire poétique du maître es soufisme Omar Khayyam. Le lendemain, place aux « Glissements progressifs du désir », pour suivre l’appellation de la soirée qui fera la part belle à des créateurs aux limites de tous les styles, Vincent Fortemps à la peinture à l’encre et Hélène Sage aux instruments et ustensiles, pour un programme avec des voix parlées, chantées, scandées, magnifiées… Enfin, l’ultime rendez-vous de cette programmation des plus épatantes invite à de belles et prometteuses « Collisions », entre jongleries, acrobaties, voix et musiques. Avec Raphaël Navarro, Camille Boitel, Fantazio et Benjamin Colin et bien d’autres. Pourvu que ça dure !
