La Manufacture / chanson
Ce spectacle porte le titre d’un album sorti au printemps réalisé par Morvan Prat, et dont elle est seule auteure. Liz Cherhal chante en métaphores et en métriques cadencées, au travers de sentiments à la loupe, de scènes revues, de choix difficiles, de liens maternels, de couples violents, de bonheurs d’avant. La voix est toujours claire et pop, quand la musique joue sur des matières vocales bouclées, des rythmes empreints de trip hop ou d’ambiances plus intimes, d’arrangements tantôt dans l’épure, tantôt dans les pleins tourbillonnants. Mais la surprise réside surtout dans une grande absence, celle de l’accordéon, incontestable héros de nombres de chansons d’avant. Liz Cherhal semble avoir les épaules délestées, l’expression plus légère, quoique déchirante.
Sans bretelles et en signes
Néry Catineau et Hervé Maigret aux manettes de la scénographie apportent une touche chorégraphiée, jouant sur les symétries et les ombres portées, les aplats et les folies, le pur concert à l’énergie rock et la mise en scène esthète : un plateau voilé de rideaux de fils, mettant au centre le récit, traduit sur scène en langue des signes par le danseur et comédien Cyrille Gérard, jumeau inattendu d’un duo qui se dissocie, joue en miroir et se rééquilibre.
