Un artiste peut-il être un Zarathoustra aujourd’hui et ouvrir de nouvelles voies de compréhension du monde ? Autrement dit, être un surhomme dépassant sa condition pour s’émanciper ? Aurélia Ivan ne craint pas l’ambition des questions : elle les pose même comme cadre pour tendre la trame de ses créations. Dans L’Androïde [HU#1], elle fouille les écrits de Nietzsche et de Slavoj Zizek, philosophes qui chacun à leur manière et leur époque, ont annoncé la fin d’un système et l’avènement de temps nouveaux. Formée d’abord au Conservatoire National d’Art Théâtral de Bucarest puis à l’école Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette de Charleville-Mézières, la jeune artiste roumaine pousse l’homme aux confins de ses paradoxes, explorant « la solitude de l’être dans la multiplication de lui-même, la déshumanisation, la désincarnation qui nous conduit à un dialogue homme – androïde (mi-chose, mi-être), comme signe d’une séparation entre le soi et le moi, entre le corps et l’âme. » En plasticienne et metteure en scène, elle a conçu une installation qui, par la marionnette, confronte le vivant et l’inanimé et fait vibrer tous les enjeux de leur secrète relation.
